Handbuilding Class at Earth & Fire Studio 

724 Adams Street, NOLA 70118
Maple and Hampson, Uptown.

Saturday mornings from 10am to 1pm. Handbuilding techniques including bisque molds, slab, and coil, for functional and sculptural pieces. Surface decoration with glazes, slips, and oxides. Demos and an optional project each month. Limited to 6 students, of all levels. Monthly fee of $170 includes instruction, glazes, tools, colored slips, electric firing to Cone 6. Pay for clay as you use it, at $20 for 25 pounds of clay. Call Susan (284-8787) or email (sebergman@aol.com) for information.
